Raymond is a partner with Cronser Legal. His dedication to civil rights, his remarkable track record of success in complex litigation, and his extensive experience in public interest law make him a valuable addition to our team.
Raymond graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review and received the Irving Oberman Memorial Award for his work on law and social change. Since earning his law degree, Raymond has built a distinguished career as an attorney, focusing on high-impact cases in disability rights, consumer protections, wage and hour disputes, housing, and employment discrimination.
Raymond’s accomplishments include spearheading groundbreaking litigation that resulted in life-changing settlements for marginalized communities. In Willits v. City of Los Angeles, Raymond secured the largest disability access class action settlement in history, requiring the city to invest more than $1.4 billion to improve sidewalks and pedestrian access. In Muehe v. City of Boston, he achieved a certified class action settlement requiring the city to upgrade thousands of curb ramps annually to ensure accessibility for individuals with mobility disabilities. He also successfully represented consumers in Bazerman v. American Airlines, which resulted in over $7 million in refunds for passengers misled by false baggage fee promises.
Beyond his litigation successes, Raymond has demonstrated leadership in promoting equity and inclusion within the legal profession. He serves on the board of directors for the National Trans Bar Association and is an active member of the Disability Rights Bar Association and the California Employment Law Association. His publications, ranging from analyses of federal discovery rules to advocacy for trans rights, reflect his commitment to advancing justice and equality.
