Clinical physician and licensed MD alleged harassment and wrongful termination based on her disability against her employer biopharmaceutical corporation. She was forced to take a physician-approved medical leave due to stress and depression resulting from her nephew’s sudden death. She alleged that upon her return she was stripped of her responsibilities and primary job duties, shut out of meeting, verbally abused by her supervisor, and otherwise harassed. She was terminated shortly after reporting same to Human Resources. Case settled.
