Plumber employee alleged PAGA causes of action against employer plumbing company for minimum wage, overtime and rest break violations. Aggrieved employees, including our client, were paid by commission which in most shifts did not compensate at least minimum wage (and overtime) for all hours worked in their shift. Further, employer’s commission pay did not compensate employees separately for their rest breaks. Lastly, employer had no system in place for reimbursing employees for their gas mileage despite requiring employees to use their own vehicles to drive to and from daily plumbing jobs.
