Hotel maintenance worker alleged PAGA causes of action on behalf of aggrieved employees for off-the-clock violations. Specifically, aggrieved employee alleged that maintenance workers were required to pick up and drop off golf carts, wash golf carts, obtain keys from the front desk, along with other integral job duties, before clocking in and after clocking out at the end of the day. In addition, maintenance staff members were subjected to a 30 minute meal break auto-deduction policy despite not being able take meal breaks on most of their shifts.
