Tori focuses her practice on wage and hour class actions and employment discrimination cases, representing workers in both Washington and Oregon. She is now passionately focused on advocating exclusively for employees. She is dedicated to fighting for individuals who have faced discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, or wage theft. Tori is committed to holding employers accountable and securing justice for workers who have been wronged.
Tori also spent several years representing and advising employers at prominent national and regional law firms. In this role, she defended corporations in a wide variety of employment disputes, including class action lawsuits and cases involving wage and hour violations and discrimination claims. This experience provides her with a valuable “insider” perspective on the strategies employers use, which she now leverages to build powerful cases on behalf of workers.
Tori began her legal career in high-stakes appellate law, having specialized in civil appeals for nearly five years at one of Washington’s premier appellate firms. This deep experience in the appellate process gives her a strategic advantage in complex litigation, informing how she builds cases from the ground up to withstand scrutiny on appeal. She has represented clients before the highest courts, including the Washington Supreme Court, the Washington Court of Appeals, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Tori earned her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law , where she served as the Chief Managing Editor of the Washington International Law Journal. She received two B.A. degrees, with High Honors, in History and Political Science from the University of Montana. She has been consistently recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers and listed in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch.
