Lactation Break Retaliation Settlement – Bartender

Employee bartender filed suit against her employer for wrongful termination and retaliation after being terminated for reporting her inability to take lactation breaks following her pregnancy. She also brought individual claims for meal and rest break violations because she was generally the only bartender working shifts, including during rush hour, and therefore she was not permitted to take breaks.
